The original house was built in the 1830's and was a sod roofed
frame house. That house burned in the early 1900's and was rebuilt
as the Victorian house that is there now.

Farms is located on a working Thoroughbred Racehorse Farm.
Visitors can get up close and personal with the animals in a
comfortable and safe setting. The old-fashioned farmyard hosts a
variety of farm birds and animals to amaze and entertain.
Take a stroll outside and meet Sassafras, the donkey that gives
the goat donkey-back-rides, or visit with Daisy the potbellied pig.

The Arms family had a large dairy farm operation and there was a big barn across the road from the farmhouse. The barn was burned down in the late 1970's by an arsonist. The silo is still standing.
