The Riverside Resort
Just outside Newaygo, this is my favorite kind of place.
This is an old-fashioned resort of the motel type. The rooms are cedar
panel and are full of old Michigan artifacts and games. When you are
inside it is just like being inside a cabin "up north" yet, this place is on the
Croton-Hardy Dam just an hour north of Grand Rapids.
The resort is right on the river so fishermen are happy. Plenty of food and drink nearby and some unique shops.
